MIKROS Analytics

MIKROS is a SaaS product that enrolls game developers in an information sharing ecosystem, also known as data pooling, that helps identify better insights about user behavior. Including user spending habits.

How It Works

MIKROS sorts users by spend and activity levels. This is done across our ecosystem, which differs from how data is managed today by competitor platforms who do not offer any data pooling. Then game developers and advertisers can view reports in a dashboard so that they can better understand their users' behavior across many games and pinpoint areas to improve their customer experience. Advertisers can now be certain that their ads are being shown to verified spenders.

How Does MIKROS Data Differ?

We like to spell everything out, so that understanding insights is very simple and clear. Our data results come in the form of sanitized, actionable insights. We output human readable insights that connects game developers and advertisers to a more full understanding of the problems they are looking to solve. This is because analysis is not just on data you own, but all data in the MIKROS ecosystem.

Deeper Data Dive

For data and insights to be understood and impactful, it needs to be visually presented in graphs or charts. While these tools are incredibly useful, it’s difficult to build them manually. Taking the time to pull information from multiple areas and put it into a reporting tool is frustrating and time-consuming. Additionally, analytics can be hard to scale as an organization and the amount of data it collects grows. Collecting information and creating reports becomes increasingly complex. A system that can grow with the organization is crucial to managing this issue.

MIKROS produces actionable insights using data. It has the ability to take your collected data, understand it, process it and extract value from it so that the system can visualize and communicate its findings.

One of the most valuable tenants of MIKROS is its ability to connect with stakeholders to gain a full understanding of the problems they are looking to solve. By leveraging our patented M2M (mobile-to-mobile) technology, data is examined and evaluated to answer questions such as who is the client? What exactly does the client need to solve? How can the system translate an ambiguous request into a concrete, well defined problem-solution set? Is this data already available? If so, what parts of the data are useful? If not, what more data is needed? What kind of resources--time, money, infrastructure--would it take to collect this data in a usable form? What are the high-level characteristics and are any of them more significant than others? By performing this in-depth analysis, MIKROS is able to unearth high-value insights and predictions.

MIKROS is a system capable of applying objective analysis of facts before coming to a conclusion. It looks beyond what’s on the surface to discover patterns and solutions within the data. All of the analysis and technical results that a data system can come up with is of little value unless it can be explained in a comprehensible and compelling way. MIKROS achieves this by taking advantage of versatile algorithms to comb through as much data as possible in search of interesting statistical relationships. These relationships derive from an environment that is agnostic of platform and product ownership constraints and limitations.

MIKROS Ecosystem

What is Data Pooling?

The process of data pooling involves collecting securely transmitted data from disparate sources that ultimately makeup the MIKROS ecosystem. Our ecosystem in combination with M2M (mobile-to-mobile) technology takes the compiled data and applies algorithms to generate powerful insights.

Access to Diverse Data

Data diversity is vital for advanced analytics. The ecosystem shared by game developers and advertisers provides a big picture view of risk versus economics, revealing true user behaviors and other common aspects. This data can also be calibrated down to the specific user, giving game developers the benefit of both the whole and the individual.

Affordable Access to Data Scientists

Data scientists are highly skilled, highly demanded, and expensive resources. They play a major role in analyzing and creating predictive insights from raw data. Many companies, particularly small to medium cap game studios, don’t have the same assets and hiring power as some of the major players, which makes hiring a single data scientist a non-option. This is where the power of MIKROS comes into play. Using machine learning--a technique used by data scientists that allow computers to learn from data--MIKROS can produce predictive results, and sentiment analysis to extract critical information from the collected data sets.

All participants of data pooling are effectively splitting the cost of machine learning, making advanced analytics much more affordable.

Anonymized Data and Secure

Another common concern around the topic of data pooling is access to private information. MIKROS is extremely careful and secure with handling all personally identifiable information (PII). Data is both anonymized and encrypted.

We do not supply specifics about users that do not belong to you. We also do not reveal the source of provided information. Comparative analysis is never specific regarding identifiable information. Data that you can query and compare with other contributors of the MIKROS ecosystem come directly from your Competitors. Exactly who your Competitors are is never revealed. We determine Competitors by examining a number of factors such as product game genre, content, gameplay type, style and more.

All contributing game developers will benefit from the ecosystem through insights into spending habits, user behaviors, user tendencies and much more. Post analysis, you will never even be able to tell that data is pooled, except for the increased accuracy in your results and insights that no other analytic service can provide.

Quantity of Data for Predictive Analytics

Predictive and comparative analytics is no longer a luxury, but a requirement. If you have no insights into how well your product is performing in relation to your competitors, you will always be behind trends. You will never be able to form proper milestones to pivot or make changes to improve your product until it is too late and your product fails.

It is well-known that more data means more accurate results. There exists very insightful data to learn more about your users, but only if done collectively with the rest of the industry. There is simply not a large enough data set to perform accurate predictive analytics as an individual organization. Fortunately, MIKROS is coming to the rescue! Our technology provides an opportunity to analyze a much larger data set. With good models, each additional game studio contributing to the ecosystem will help continue to decrease your margin for error and allow you to have more confidence in your data-driven decision making for the future.

Although it is highly valuable, with other analytic services it is currently impossible for game developers to perform any comparative analysis. All product comparisons must stem internally and are not in real-time. MIKROS makes it possible for you to access industry data and receive predictive and comparative analytics daily. This makes it possible to stay on top of industry trends before they have passed. This enables you to create milestones based on your competitors. This will reduce the chance of product failure, and ultimately save dollars.
